The city will host the 25th Marbella City Duathlon this Sunday, February 15th, one of the most established sporting events on the Andalusian calendar. Organized by the City Council with the support of CD Triatlón Marbella and the Andalusian Triathlon Federation, the event will take place on the San Pedro Alcántara seafront promenade. Councilor Lisandro Vieytes explained that the San Pedro Alcántara seafront will be the epicenter of this competition, which, in its 25th edition, “will once again position the municipality as a leader in organizing top-level sporting events.” “The main objective of the event is to promote and spread this discipline in the province, encouraging sport as a fundamental tool for a healthy lifestyle and offering citizens an active leisure option,” the councilor stated, adding that the competition will bring together approximately 800 participants across the main race and the youth categories.
